Mental Imagery
…or when I don’t have my camera. Just like Thuy, I had one of these moments today.
Imagine with me, if you will.
I get off the Broadway B-Line bus at Willow, headed towards Oak where my dentist office is. In front of me are two Chocolate Labrador Retrievers with their owners. As they’re walking, or rather, trotting, their tails wag in unison, smacking each other, left and right, left and right. The one on the left, his nose is pointed down, constantly sniffing. He pauses and now their tails are opposite, like the way a conductors arms would look, in and out, in and out.
Suddenly, he darts at a pigeon near the curb. Immediately, the owner yanks him back ..”No! Bad dog, no pigeon!” she says, “Not on Broadway, sit down!“. A huge smile comes to my face as I walk by and I see the dog has the biggest shit-eating grin possible, like nothing happened.
